The Red God takes what is his, lovely girl. And only death may pay for life. You saved me and the two I was with. You stole three deaths from the Red God. We have to give them back. Speak three names and the man will do the rest. Three lives I will give you - no more, no less, and we're done.
Jaqen H'ghar - Game of Thrones, as played by Tom Wlaschiha.
Jaqen was definitely one of my favourite characters in Season 2. When his face changed I booed.
Even though I knew it was coming because I read some spoilers from the books - yes, I haven't read the books... yet - it still made me sad. So this is my tribute to this "version" of Jaqen, hoping that, sooner or later, he will meet Arya again.
I was gutted also when he changed!!! He's such a cool character I thought he would be in it more than he was! You've captured his essence immensely! Dark mysterious and with a glint of bad in his eyes! Love it! <3
I love this character and your representation. I am highly enjoying all your works but I'll just leave one comment here. I'm glad you were featured today as it was well earned, nd I got to discover you!
I don't often like fan art because it's usually not very good or, even if it is good, it's just a direct copy more or less bu with studio lighting etc. feels soulless when yours is not only technically sound but illustrative as well.
LOVE Jaqen! Hes so.... mysterious and intriguing! I really wish Arya could've gone with him to Bravos... that would have been really interesting, seeing her learn what it takes to be a faceless man!! (err... woman!)
Yea, he was one of my favourites in season 2 as well. He looks scarily similar to my sister's boyfriend, the long hair and face fur really helps the idea. The first time I saw him on the series I was like, huh... I didn't know he had a side job. So Jagen is never going to have his face back? Can anyone remember what Jagen told Arya to say with the coin? And I mean actually remember it, not quickly google it. I haven't read the books either, even though they're been staring at me from the bookshelf for nearly 6 months, but I'm almost positive that Arya and his paths will cross again, hell I wouldn't even be surprised if Arya joins the Faceless men. Her future is bound to involve warfare.
I think Arya will meet Jaqen again, just not the Jaqen with this face. When Jaqen gave Arya the coin he told her that, if she ever went to Braavos and wanted to see him again, all she had to do is show that coin to any man in Braavos and say "Valar Morghulis"... which means "All men must die"... I'm pretty sure that Arya will meet the Faceless Men too.
