Someone posted this image on Instagram so I had to track it down! This is amazing and if you can happen to get this design on a shirt I'd buy it in a half of a heart beat! Thank you so much for this because I can't even draw a stick-figure! LOVE IT
We're in the same boat as far as supernatural goes and recently finding them. It's been about a year-full of it for me Obsessed, I am now. Love this work! You caught them as they should be with Sam's reach and Dean's mischief.. too cool. Thank you!
this is probobly one of the most amazing pieces I have seen for "the boys" I have seen so many pictures of supernatural and being a huge fan since day one I am normally pretty harsh, but this is so amazing. you capture both of the boys and the world that we all live in that only they know of...
This is FANTASTIC. I don't even have the words, but this image literally took my breath away - and I do mean literally, I'm sitting here gasping - and made my heart speed up.
I adore the lighting, the way the shadows falls over their faces, the folds on Sam's shirt. Sam's NECK, oh my, I'm such a Samgirl (who also loves Dean, though), and they way you've drawn him is just breathtaking. And it's not just that you've drawn them exactly what they look like, but the characterisation is visible right there in their body language and facial expressions.
Thank you so much for this wonderful comment! Your reaction in seeing this is what makes doing fanart so satisfying and exciting. You know, I still can't decide if I'm more of a Deangirl or a Samgirl, so I'll just be both. I'm glad you appreciated the characterisation, which is imo the most important thing in a fanart portrait.
Well, that calls for another wallpaper change! Gah, so gorgeous. Yeah, this show is addictive isn't it? For me it's because of the characters: they're deep and the problems they face never have an easy answer. It's always murky grey and I really like that opposed to the black&white view many other shows present problems and solutions to their cast of characters. Anyway, enough rambling from me. Love this piece!
I totally agree. The characters are deeply flawed but sympathetic, even the villains. And the atmosphere is dark, the symbolism is so rich and multifaceted, the story talks about good and evil, angels and demons without being pompous or overly epic and remaining well-grounded in reality, there's no wonder is one of the biggest goldmines in terms of inspiration for us fanartists and artists in general.
