So... Season 2 of Game of Thrones is about to start and I can't wait to see more of Dany's dragons!
A Daenerys portrait has been in my "things to do" list for so long, but for some reason I always kept on procrastinating.

I finally started it a few days ago, not really knowing if it would end up as a sketch or else. I initially didn't plan to draw the dragons, only Daenerys.

But then again, the dragons just had to be there, the picture itself was calling for it...

TECH STUFF

Photoshop CS3 + Wacom Bamboo Tablet + some references + custom brushes. I had a lot of fun with some new brushes I made, especially with Dany's clothes

Thanks to *alecan and ~nara6200 for the dragon brushes that have been really helpful, since I suck at drawing creatures.
